Link River Trail

So we are in Klamath Falls, so I decided to go see the waterfalls.  I went to the camp office today and asked where they are located and the young lady said, "Well, they dammed them up".  I guess they put in a hydroelectric plant and needed to dam up the river and it eliminated the falls.  She did say that a walk along the river is still a nice option, but be careful.  On the news last night they reported that someone saw a cougar in the area.  Well, I decided to go ahead and walk the Link River Trail.  I didn't see a cougar, but I did see over 100 plum trees.  The plums were everywhere along the river.  The only problem was that they weren't ripe yet.  There was also a lot of blackberry bushes, but they had already been picked clean.  While I was walking there were fighter jets flying above my head. I later found out that the Kingsley Field Air National Guard Base is located near Klamath Falls.

The 173rd Fighter Wing is located nearby.  They are responsible for training air-to-air combat pilots.  I think these are F-15 Eagle fighter jets.
