Seattle

We all spent the entire day in downtown Seattle.  We spent much of the day at the Pike Place Market.  They seemed to have one of everything there.  There was a lot of fish markets and we saw them throwing the fish between the employees.  We ate lunch near the market and we all had fish and chips.  We went to the Space Needle, but didn't spend the money to go to the top.  We did however, ride the Seattle Great Wheel, which is a giant 175 foot Ferris Wheel on the bay.  We also went on a historic tour of the old city beneath Seattle's sidewalks.  It was a humorous stroll through intriguing subterranean storefronts and sidewalks entombed when the city rebuilt on top of itself after the Great Fire of 1889.

Inside Pike Place Market.  There were many flower shops and you could get a big bouquet of fresh cut flowers for only $5.00
