California

It has been getting chilly in Oregon, so it is about time to start moving south.  We left our current campground and drove southwest to California.  We parked our camper in an RV Resort that borders the Redwood National and State Parks.  After we set up the camper, we decided to take a short drive on Howland Hill Road.  The road is unpaved, but goes through old-growth redwoods in the Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park.  While driving through the park and group of young boys waved at us to stop.  They proceeded to tell us that they are from West Virginia and live near Lewisburg.  We were all pretty excited to learn that we all live in the same state.

  1. Jealous! I've always wanted to see these trees! Since I was in second grade and I saw a picture of a tunnel they made one out of. A car was driving through it.
