Arches National Park has over 2,000 red rock natural stone arches, in addition to hundreds of soaring pinnacles, massive fins and giant balanced rocks. It was a great day touring the park. The weather was fantastic with blue skies and warm weather. However, we were amazed how many visitors were at the park. It was mid week and the kids were all back at school; however, many of the parking lots throughout the park were full. I've recently read that this is a problem at many national parks. They are having a hard time handling the large crowds. Below is a sampling of some of the pictures we took.

If you look really close, you can see people standing to the left of the window arch. It gives you a reference to how big these rocks really are. |
