Lake Louise
We attempted to go to Lake Louise a few days ago, but the crowds were so great that there wasn't even a place to. This morning we woke up at 6:15 am and went to Lake Louise before the crowds. We beat the crowds, but the smoke from the forest fires was still in the area and it really affected the photos of the lake. However, it still was magnificent. After the lake, we went to the town of Banff and visited the Hot Springs. The spring water was 40 degrees centigrade (104 degrees Fahrenheit). The spring was more like a swimming pool, but was very nice to soak in. The good news is that this afternoon a rain storm hit the area. It cleared away all of the smoke. Hopefully it stays away.
